Topic: Requesting an Estimate
Description: Make a Request Estimate for licensing by selecting Yes on the Save Lightbox page. By doing so,you are not required to buy anything. Complete Contact Information (which only need be entered once). Then, describe how you intend to use the images. You can also use the Request Estimate feature to send a sample collection to our studio in cases where you need assistance with Custom Stock or would like to discuss the possibly of assignment work. A copy of your Lightbox will be saved and e-mailed to us. If you make changes to your Lighbox after submitting a Request Estimate, these revisions will be sent to us again once you have saved it. Our studio hours are weekdays from 9 am to 6 pm (PST) or by appointment. If you wish to speak with Pete McArthur himself, at the bottom of the Request Estimate Usage form let us know the best time to reach you.

Description: Note the general usage for the images you have selected in your Lightbox. Image usage is a key factor for us in calculating an estimate. If you are not sure, you may leave it blank. Use the text box at the bottom of the page for any general comments or questions you may have regarding this estimate.

Topic: View Lightbox options
Description: View or download a larger size FPO of the images in your Lightbox, either by clicking on the FPO icon or on the thumbnail image. Remove all images and start a new Lightbox or selectively remove individual images by clicking the X icon to the left of the image. The SAVE, E-MAIL or REQUEST ESTIMATE button will take you to these options.

Topic: Name your Lightbox
Description: Name your Lightbox collections and add a description for future reference. These references will also be displayed if you e-mail your Lightbox to someone else. This can be helpful if you want to save more than one collection. The Lightbox Name and Notes will help you distinguish among your saved Lightboxes.

Topic: E-mail your Lightbox
Description: E-mail your Lightbox by checking the box, and filling in the e-mail address of where you want it to go. Send your Lightbox to many people at once by entering each e-mail address followed by a comma in the To box. E-mail your Lightbox to yourself, or to Pete McArthur’s studio, simply by checking the boxes as indicated. Use the standard message or erase it and type your own personal message. A copy of your Lightbox will be saved; the e-mail sent will contain a list of the images you selected along with a link to view your collection on petemcarthur.com.

Topic: Lightbox Saved (continue)
Description: Once you save a copy of your Lightbox, you have the option to continue working with the images you have already selected. This is useful if you are still unsure about your selections and want to make changes. If you choose this option, your image selections will remain in your current Lightbox. When you want to save your changes, you will have the opportunity to update the Lightbox you just saved, or save your changes as another Lightbox.

Topic: Lightbox Saved (Start Next)
Description: If you choose to Start Next Lightbox, you will start a new collection of images. The Lightbox you just saved will be available under the YourAccount > YourSavedLightboxes menu and will not be erased.

Description: Once you have modified the contents of your saved Lightbox, you can replace the previously saved version with your new selections.

Topic: Save as another Lightbox
Description: Once you modify a previously saved Lightbox, you can choose to save your selections as a new Lightbox. This way you will have both your old version and your new selections available under the YOUR ACCOUNT> Your Lightboxes.

Topic: Finding an Image
Description: Access the pre-defined categories for all Stock Images from the Find Images Menu at the uppermost right corner of the page. See a visual representation of each category by choosing Search Categories under the Stock Images Menu in the grey bar running along the top. You also have to option to search for a particular picture by Image Number by choosing Find by Number option in the Stock Images Menu in the grey bar.

Topic: Title Word Search
Description: Title Word Search looks for a specific word or phrase contained in the titles of the Licensed Stock Images.
Use a simple word or subject to find the best results. For example: If you search for 'car', it will find all the images with 'car' in the title, including 'cards' and 'carrots'. Don't use mulitple words or modifiers such as 'and' 'or'.
Alternatively, if you know the exact image number you can locate it with the Image# box.
